The Mythan Rod is a fifth rod in the game and can be obtained from smelting 
Mythan Ores and 
Coals into 
Mythan Bars then smithing the bars into reels at the anvil inside Smithing Hub in Brightleaf and craft it in Rod Crafting table.

You can craft fishing rods in Rod Crafting table located above the Brightleaf Merchant.
