The Iron Rod is a second rod in the game and can be obtained from smelting 
Iron Ores into 
Iron Bars then smithing the bars into reels at the anvil inside Smithing Hub in Brightleaf and craft it in Rod Crafting table or bought from the Merchant.
CRAFTING
You can craft fishing rods in Rod Crafting table located above the Brightleaf Merchant.
